Description

Sound dampening is a reduction of the transmission of noise within a system. Such as speakers that carry sound into the wall they’re mounted on, sounds that carry into a wall.

Acoustic Foam: Typically made from polyurethane/melamine foam formulated at specific density rates to absorb acoustic vibrations, this is the industry standard for large spaces where budget is a consideration.

Purpose: Primarily used for treating mid to high frequencies.

Appearance: Comes in a variety of surface textures/shapes like wedges, pyramids, or unique shapes.

Best for: Home studios, voice-over booths, and places where budget is a consideration.
